We do Weekly Kickoff meetings and daily standups. In each daily standup we’ll also schedule out regular check-ins throughout the day with other team members that we’re working with. For example, you may schedule a check in with product in the middle of the day to make sure you understand all the requirements for a feature you’re working on.
We do weekly sprint planning and story point sizing. We are very tied into Atlassian using Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
We release often (weekly at minimum) with new features. We follow a philosophy of continuous improvement with rapid iteration. We don’t launch things that are perfect. We launch things that work and then continuously improve on them until they’re the best they can be.
We believe in code depreciation. Unreleased code loses value over time.
Our team uses Google Meet for regular video conferencing. Most meetings are recorded so team members that aren’t available can watch them at a later time. We also use a lot of Slack and we even have a Discord channel for easier collaboration when working together on a feature.
