COVID-19 Effect on New Remote Jobs
There’s some uncertainty about the future due to the world being in lockdown and I wanted to know if this has already had an immediate effect on how remote companies hire.
I looked at the number of new remote jobs posted to the most popular job boards and made this weekly graph.
As you can see, new remote jobs haven’t dropped to zero. So huuh, this is a releaf!
There’s maybe a slight decrease in new job posts on WWR, but other boards don’t seem to have that. So it could be anything. And there’s also this huge jump with Stack Overflow jobs a few weeks back. What’s up with that.
It’s nice to see that everything looks quite normal right now. Companies are still posting remote jobs, and that’s great.
But I’ll keep an eye on my weekly graph to see how this develops further.
